I found this link througha google search: http://www.dea.gov/pubs/history/1990-1994.html

If you scroll down there is a picture captioned: "Special agent claude powers of the san diego division Narcotics Task Force posed with the 1948 Tucker automobile seized from a major methamphetamine trafficker in 1992"

Which tucker is this and what has become of it?

1039. TACA campaigned to have the DEA donate the car to the Smithsonian, which they did. It's currently on display in CA as the Smithsonian remodels.

Out of off-topic curiosity...is the Smithsonian's remodeled American history museum going to have some real display space for their car collection? As in, a permanent exhibit space, or something like it? I'd love to be able to see Jackson's Winton, the Cable Special, etc., etc. in one nice gallery.

As to the question of whether or not the seized Tucker car (#1039) was the Tucker car that was a part of the 150th Year tour, the answer is yes.
